Do you honestly consider fanfiction a form of cheating and stealing. Or can you see the thrill and excitement with trying to continue someone else’s story?
As far as I know as long as a fiction has valid copyright you’re not allowed to use canons, specific events or certain environments and places.
But if the copyright is long expired than i’s possible to write original fiction with someoe else’s original ideas.
